Arrabbiata with Sausage - pasta was al dente. Decent amount of sausage. Red sauce got some nice tomato, garlic, and evoo flavor. The heat slowly builds up at the end, has some nice kick to it but not fiery hot. Panna Picante Pizza - The outer crust was chewy and got some nice flavor. The middle crust was soggy however. The way I ate this was I rolled them up like a pizza roll and ate it with the pasta. It actually pairs well together because the cream from the pizza tones down the heat from the pasta and in contrast, the mild heat from the salami added a little bit more spice to the mix. Mocha Stout Beer - A pleasant surprise. The creamy texture with a hint of chocolate and coffee pairs well with the rich flavored meal. Interior decor is nice, quiet ambiance, the place looks clean. Servers were nice and attentive.
Had a lovely dinner here at Gino’s Brick Oven Pizza in Serendra with my siblings and their families. We had a bit of lining up, but it was worth the wait. The pizzas had that perfect chewy, wood-fired crust, and the pastas tasted fresh and homemade. The spicy honey was a surprise highlight and added a sweet–spicy twist that really suits the Filipino palate. Here are just some of the dishes we ordered (excluding the meat-based pizzas I didn’t manage to photograph). Cosy place, good service, and consistently delicious food. Would happily come back. ☺️
We visited for a quiet Thursday lunch and left incredibly satisfied. We shared the salami pizza with extra sausage and the truffle burrata with prosciutto—both were delicious. Pro tip: Adding spicy honey is a game-changer for the flavor profile. It was plenty of food for two people, and the peaceful, calm ambiance made for a perfect midday break.
